The large blue ring around the community symbol represents the services that nurses provide, with the people throughout the ring representing the patients physical and mental health that is treated by the Nurses and the medicine.
The white, blue, orange and brown community symbols represent the many different communities that Nurses travel from all throughout Australia, from the desert and the outback to the coastlines and waterways. These community symbols are connected to eNurse’s community symbol through the white dotted spirit tails surrounded by blue dots, which represents their journeys and all of the people they meet and help along the way. The white and orange dotted circles throughout the painting connected to the large blue ring through the white spirit trails represents the Nurses and how they are connected to their patients.
The different animals throughout the design represents the healing journey which is different for each individual and how each Nurse and patient is as unique and diverse as the many animals who call our land Australia Home. With the animal footprints representing the many patients from all backgrounds and walks of life who are treated by Nurses. Lastly the plants, flowers and leaves throughout the painting represent the native bush medicines and leaves which have been used for thousands upon thousands of years to treat many aliments and illnesses, this vital knowledge has been passed down through the generations.
